Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned ServiceNow Developer to join our Bangalore-based engineering team to lead the design, development, and optimization of our enterprise service management ecosystem. In this role, you will act as a technical architect and primary developer, collaborating closely with cross-functional IT teams, business stakeholders, and global process owners to translate complex requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. By leveraging your deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform, you will directly influence the efficiency of our IT operations, ensuring that our internal customers experience seamless service delivery and robust system reliability that drives overall business productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement end-to-end ServiceNow solutions, focusing on ITSM and CMDB modules to streamline service delivery and maintain accurate configuration data for the organization.

- Develop custom applications, workflows, and integrations to automate manual business processes, thereby reducing operational overhead and improving response times for end-users.

- Lead the technical design and execution of platform upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to business continuity while maintaining system security and performance standards.

- Collaborate with process owners to refine functional requirements, ensuring that technical implementations align perfectly with long-term business objectives and IT governance frameworks.

- Perform rigorous code reviews and unit testing to uphold high-quality development standards, mentoring junior developers to foster a culture of technical excellence within the team.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated mastery in configuring and customizing ServiceNow ITSM and CMDB modules, with a proven track record of managing complex data structures and service mapping.

- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and UI Policies, coupled with the ability to build seamless integrations using REST/SOAP web services.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured technical specifications, ensuring clear communication with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, particularly in troubleshooting platform performance bottlenecks and resolving intricate configuration issues in high-pressure environments.

- Proven ability to thrive in a hybrid work model, maintaining high levels of self-motivation and collaborative engagement with distributed teams across different time zones.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant ServiceNow certifications that validate your technical depth.
