About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions, with strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow modules related to ITAM, HAM, SAM, and CMDB.

- Design and implement solutions based on business and technical requirements.

- Develop and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and script includes.

- Configure and optimize Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes.

- Manage and enhance CMDB configuration, data models, relationships, and data quality.

- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.

- Work on data imports, transform maps, scheduled jobs, and integration processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across ServiceNow modules.

- Perform platform upgrades, enhancements, testing, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Follow ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and governance processes.

- Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to relevant teams.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.

- Strong expertise in IT Asset Management (ITAM).

- Hands-on experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM).

- Strong understanding of CMDB, CIs, relationships, and data management.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.

- Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, Workflows/Flow Designer.

- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, APIs, and IntegrationHub.

- Understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables, forms, lists, and access controls.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management practices.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
