Job Description :

As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, customization, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform.

You will play a pivotal role in strengthening our CMDB health and expanding our ITOM capabilities (including Discovery and Service Mapping) to ensure seamless IT operations.

Total Experience : 5 8 Years

Relevant ServiceNow Experience : Minimum 3+ Years

Key Responsibilities :

1. Platform Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements.

- Develop core platform components including Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Workflow/Flow Designer, and Script Includes.

- Build and maintain robust integrations between ServiceNow and external third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

2. CMDB & ITOM Management :

- Own the configuration, governance, and health of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

- Implement and maintain ITOM modules, focusing on Discovery and Service Mapping to ensure accurate infrastructure visibility.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to discovery patterns, credentials, and data ingestion.

3. Maintenance & Continuous Improvement :

- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and bug-fixing to maintain high platform availability.

- Provide technical support and expertise for ServiceNow implementation, upgrades, and patches.

- Adhere to industry best practices for platform governance, code quality, and documentation.

Technical & Professional Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

- ServiceNow Development : Deep hands-on experience in scripting, workflow automation, and core platform development.

- CMDB : Solid understanding of CMDB architecture, CI classes, identification and reconciliation rules (IRE).

- ITOM : Proven experience working with ServiceNow ITOM modules.

Preferred Experience :

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery configuration and Service Mapping.

- Experience in ITOM implementation or high-level production support.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.

- Relevant ServiceNow Certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or CIS-Discovery/Mapping) are a major plus
