ServiceNow Architect - ITSM/ITOM Frameworks

Description :

A ServiceNow Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures alignment between business needs and technical capabilities while maintaining platform integrity and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions

- Create technical design documents and architecture diagrams

Platform Governance :

- Ensure platform health, performance, and upgrade readiness

- Lead code reviews and enforce quality standards

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions

- Provide strategic guidance on platform capabilities

Implementation Leadership :

- Lead complex implementations and transformation programs

- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies

Integration & Automation :

- Design integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs

- Implement automation workflows and orchestration

- Utilize ServiceNow Integration Hub and Flow Designer

Performance & Security :

- Ensure system scalability, performance tuning, and security compliance

- Implement role-based access control and data policies

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with the ServiceNow platform

Expertise in :

- ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery

- Scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)

- Flow Designer, Integration Hub

Knowledge of :

- REST/SOAP APIs

- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

- Database concepts and data modeling

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Masters preferred)

Certifications (Preferred) :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)

- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (highly valued)
