ServiceNow Technical Architect

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end platform architecture, define best practices, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and long-term platform strategy.

This role requires deep expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities, architecture design, integrations, and enterprise-scale implementations across multiple modules.

Key Responsibilities :

Platform Architecture & Strategy :

- Define and own the end-to-end ServiceNow architecture aligned with enterprise standards and platform roadmap.

- Design scalable and secure solutions across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and Discovery modules.

- Drive architectural governance, ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices and platform standards.

CMDB & Data Architecture :

- Architect and manage CMDB data models, CI class structures, and relationship frameworks.

- Ensure CMDB data quality through governance, normalization, reconciliation, and periodic audits.

Integration & Platform Engineering :

- Architect integrations using Integration Hub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and MID Servers.

- Design and oversee advanced configurations including :

a. Flow Designer

b. Business Rules

c. Script Includes

d. UI Policies

e. Client Scripts

- Implement ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping for enterprise environments.

Solution Design & Delivery :

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architecture solutions.

- Provide technical leadership to development teams during implementation.

- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure performance, security, and scalability standards.

Stakeholder & Presales Support :

- Collaborate with business leaders, enterprise architects, and delivery teams.

- Support presales activities including :

- Solution architecture

- Effort estimation

- Architecture walkthroughs

- Client technical discussions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on expertise in :

a. ServiceNow ITSM

b. ITOM

c. ITAM

d. CMDB

e. Discovery

- Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.

- Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, server-side and client-side scripting.

- Experience designing complex enterprise integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and Integration Hub.

- Proven experience implementing large-scale ServiceNow solutions.

- Excellent communication skills to explain architectural decisions to technical and business stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with :

- Virtual Agent

- Exposure to multi-instance or enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments.

- Experience in customer-facing architecture or presales solutioning.

Preferred Certifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
