Job Title : Senior Workday Functional Consultant - Absence & Time Tracking

Job Description :

We are looking for a Senior Workday Functional Consultant to join our Digital & Technology - Human Capital Management and Services team, supporting global initiatives focused on process transformation, employee experience, and data & insights. This role reports to the D - T Manager - HR and is responsible for configuring and supporting Workday HCM and other HR systems and processes that enhance user experience and deliver value to our global workforce. The ideal candidate brings strong Workday HCM configuration expertise, particularly in Absence and Time Tracking, along with excellent problem - solving, analytical, and communication skills, and will work collaboratively across teams to align technical solutions with business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as analyst resource for global HR system, process, data, and technology projects

- Provide day - to - day operational support for HR systems, ensuring system health and sustainability

- Apply Workday HCM, Absence, and Time Tracking expertise to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions (business process configuration, complex calculated fields, integrations, EIBs, etc.)

- Serve as consultant for global HR systems, data, and processes, identifying process impacts on technology/data and potential constraints

- Partner with business teams to define functional requirements - data, configuration, and integration needs - and translate them into technical specifications

- Identify pain points and opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiency using existing and new functionality

- Deliver prioritized initiatives through discovery, planning, implementation, testing, and stabilization

- Own quality assurance, test script creation, testing execution, and user acceptance for system solutions

- Develop technical documentation for system/process changes

- Communicate system and process changes to users with varying technical backgrounds

- Advocate for HR technology solutions and stay current on new trends

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Hands - on experience configuring, solutioning, and supporting Workday HCM

- Workday Absence and Time Tracking experience preferred

- Experience working with contractors and third - party vendors on projects/enhancements

- Strong ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications

- Demonstrated ability to analyze, design, configure, and support data, processes, and technology

- Experience with stabilization and ongoing production support of technical solutions

- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across technical and business stakeholders

- Comfortable working independently as well as within a collaborative, global team

- Prior experience working in a global organization
