Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workato Integration & Automation Lead with 10+ years of integration and automation experience and deep expertise in the Workato platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade integrations, workflow automations, and AI-powered solutions that connect critical business systems across the organization.

This role requires strong hands-on development skills, architectural knowledge of integration patterns, and experience delivering scalable automation solutions using Workato, APIs, and cloud-based enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Integration & Automation Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable integrations and automation workflows using Workato recipes, connectors, APIs, and webhooks.

- Build, deploy, and optimize Workato Genie/AI-powered automations to enable intelligent business processes.

- Develop custom connectors, SDK-based integrations, and reusable integration components.

- Implement complex data transformations, mappings, and orchestration workflows across multiple systems.

2. Enterprise Integration Architecture :

- Design and implement API-led, event-driven, and enterprise integration patterns across business applications.

- Integrate platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, NetSuite, ERP systems, HRIS platforms, Snowflake, and other cloud applications.

- Collaborate with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to define automation roadmaps and integration strategies.

- Create reusable frameworks, standards, and best practices for enterprise-wide integration initiatives.

3. Governance & Optimization :

- Establish and enforce integration governance, security, monitoring, and error-handling standards.

- Optimize workflow performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across multiple environments.

- Ensure adherence to API security, authentication, and compliance requirements.

4. Migration & Innovation :

- Lead migration initiatives from legacy middleware or other iPaaS platforms to Workato.

- Contribute to reusable accelerators, templates, and marketplace-ready assets.

- Evaluate emerging automation and AI capabilities to drive continuous innovation and business value.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in enterprise integration and automation solutions.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Workato development and architecture.

- Experience integrating enterprise SaaS platforms such as :

2. ServiceNow

3. NetSuite

4. Snowflake

5. ERP and HRIS systems

- Proven experience troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing complex integrations and workflows.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience defining and implementing enterprise automation strategies and governance frameworks.

- Exposure to other integration platforms such as :

2. MuleSoft

3. Informatica

- Knowledge of :

1. Large Language Models (LLMs)

2. AI integrations

3. Prompt engineering

4. AI workflow optimization

- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models.

- Workato certifications and/or relevant automation certifications.

- Experience building reusable integration assets and accelerators.
