Job Summary - Windchill Developer :

We are looking for a Windchill Customization Engineer with strong expertise in developing, enhancing, and maintaining custom solutions within the PTC Windchill PLM environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Windchill customization, Java development, workflow configuration, UI enhancements, and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement customizations in PTC Windchill.

- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with Windchill best practices.

- Develop and maintain :

1. Custom Java classes

2. Business logic extensions

3. Custom workflows

4. UI customizations

5. Event listeners and handlers

- Customize Windchill modules including :

1. Document Management

2. Parts & BOM Management

3. Change Management

4. Lifecycle Management

5. Project Management

- Configure and customize workflows, lifecycles, teams, and access controls.

- Develop and consume Windchill APIs, REST services, and web services.

- Create custom reports, queries, and data extraction utilities.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, performance bottlenecks, and customization-related defects.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and administrators to deliver solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Support system upgrades by assessing and remediating customizations.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with PTC Windchill customization.

- Experience using source control tools such as Git.

- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

- Engineering Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN)

- Document and CAD Data Management

- Parts and BOM Structures

- Lifecycle States and Workflow Processes

- User Roles and Access Control Management

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with CAD integrations such as :

1. PTC Creo

2. SolidWorks

3. AutoCAD

- Experience integrating Windchill with enterprise applications such as :

1. SAP ERP

2. Oracle ERP

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.

- Experience in Windchill upgrade impact analysis and remediation.
