Roles & Responsibilities :

- Create delightful and customer-focused designs that provide a superior experience, working on an area of lending ecosystem and drive things end to end - including AI-powered experiences that feel simple, trusted, and human.

- Focus on understanding users pain points before designing product and provide creative and simple UX solutions for complex business problems.

- Collaborate with people from different departments and roles, such as product, business, risk & policy and other cross-functional teams.

- Identify customer aspirations and mapping those to business goals.

- Design products from wire-framing to developing end-to-end flows and prototypes.

- Collaborate closely with front-end developers to provide polished features and user interfaces.

- Continuously iterate and push the design frontier to new heights.

- Build habit forming products with world class execution.

- Use AI as a design material - designing how it shows up in the interface, how it explains itself, and how it supports users without overwhelming or replacing human judgment.

- Assume full responsibility for the design process and participate in it as an independently led member of a design team.

- Demo designs and defend design decisions backed with research or competitive benchmarking.

Ideal Candidate :

1. Strong Senior UX Designer Profile with full-stack design depth (UX research, UX design, UI) and product thinking.

2. Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ years professional design experience with a proven track record of designing world-class products with the recent 3+ years in a product company.

3. Mandatory (Experience 2): Must be full-stack in design, hands-on across UX research, UX design and UI, taking projects start to finish with minimal supervision.

4. Mandatory (Skill 1): Must be strong on product thinking, discovery and understanding user pain points, able to break product strategy into design deliverables.

5. Mandatory (Skill 2): Must have hands-on experience using design research methods and both data-driven and heuristic approaches, with consumer validation.

6. Mandatory (Skill 3): Must design end to end (wireframing to flows and prototypes), with strong UI craft, aesthetic sense, motion/interaction thinking, and Figma best practices plus design-to-developer handoff.

7. Mandatory (Skill 4): Must have worked closely with product teams and cross-functional partners, and be able to demo and defend design decisions backed by research or benchmarking.

8. Mandatory (Skill 5): Must be curious about and able to use AI as a design material (how it shows up in the interface, explains itself, and supports users).

9. Mandatory (Company): Must come from a product company (any industry).

10. Mandatory (Portfolio): Must share a portfolio with detailed case studies on Notion, Medium or a personal website; Dribbble portfolios not acceptable.

11. Mandatory (Education): Graduation is mandatory; higher design education preferred.

12. Mandatory (Stability): Candidate should have moved jobs too quickly in the past. 1 transition is fine, if otherwise candidate stays for at least 1+ year in a Company.

13. Preferred (Domain): Fintech or Lending experience.

14. Preferred (Background): Fast-paced startup experience, awareness of ethical/AI UX considerations (trust, bias, explainability), and a good understanding of code.
