Senior Technical Product Manager - Strategy & Roadmap

WHO YOU ARE :

The Sr. Product Manager manages research and development activities relating to the design and development of software or hardware products and qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products.

The individual will work with Product Organization to ensure alignment with organizations strategy and vision.

WHAT YOULL DO :

- Works with a cross-functional team to ensure fulfilment of product requirements, evaluates product performance and transition products from development to commercialization.

- Assists in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases.

- Acts as a technical consultant to the product organization and leads research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products.

- Ensures the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.

- Acts as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements.

- May lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests.

- Responsible for product delivery managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development.

WHAT YOULL NEED :

- 8+ years of professional experience including 4+ years as a Product Manager, including analysing software/product design, development, and deployment.

- Bachelors/Masters Degree or equivalent in technology or related field.

- Expert level background of working with Engineering groups & deeply involve in technical conversations regarding Product Development Lifecycle.

- Strong understanding of API Integrations & SQL.

- Performs work with a high degree of latitude; handles the most complex issues.

- Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.

- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.

- Ability to build collaborative relationships.

- Have strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking skills, technical expertise & project management skills.

- Expert level experience in delivery methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the use of relevant tools.

- Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional, global team.

- Experience in Life & Annuity Industry is preferred, not mandatory.

- Expert level communication, interpersonal, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
