Senior Technical Lead Java Backend (DAM MX)

Introduction & Objective :

We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead Java Backend (DAM MX) to lead the backend development and modernization of the DAM Management Server.

The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade backend services while ensuring system stability and performance.

The ideal candidate will drive backend architecture, oversee modernization initiatives, and ensure adherence to best development and security practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust, scalable RESTful backend services using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate

- Lead backend architecture and contribute to technical design decisions

- Integrate backend services with Oracle databases and messaging systems to ensure seamless data flow

- Conduct detailed code reviews and design reviews to maintain high-quality engineering standards

- Implement comprehensive unit testing and integration testing to ensure system reliability

- Maintain, enhance, and modernize legacy systems to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders

- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and enterprise standards

- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed modules, APIs, and system architecture

Required Skills :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development

- Strong expertise in Spring Framework and Hibernate

- Extensive experience in building and maintaining REST APIs

- Proficiency in Oracle SQL and database integration

- Strong working knowledge of Linux environments

- Good understanding of secure coding practices

- Experience working with CI/CD tools

- Understanding of cloud fundamentals

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with messaging systems such as ActiveMQ and Kafka

- Familiarity with Maven for build management

- Exposure to Angular or React-based frontend applications

- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes

- Working knowledge of Go language
