Senior System Test Engineer - Networking & Automation

Role Summary :

We are looking for a Senior System Test Engineer with strong networking and test automation expertise to support system-level testing in an Agile environment. The role focuses on test design, automation, debugging complex issues, and close collaboration with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform system testing in an Agile setup

- Create and execute test plans; review coverage with stakeholders

- Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts

- Analyse test failures, validate fixes, and debug complex issues

- Reproduce customer issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Stay current with networking, platform, and system software trends

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years in Networking Test & Automation roles

- Strong Python automation skills

- Hands-on with network test/performance tools (e.g., Ixia)

- Expertise in Routing & Switching, VXLAN, Microsegmentation

- Strong troubleshooting across network, OS, and system layers

- Experience with Linux, VMware ESX, Windows Server

- Familiarity with GitHub, debuggers, and profiling tools

Nice to Have :

- Knowledge of OS internals or kernel concepts

Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
