We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and governance of end to end solution architecture for a major Commercial Banking programme.

This role requires close collaboration with senior business and technology stakeholders, ensuring that complex requirements are translated into scalable, secure, and future ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner directly with business leaders and senior technology stakeholders to understand strategic objectives.

- Gather, analyse, and challenge requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and long term goals.

- Design end to end solution architectures covering applications, data, integration, and infrastructure.

- Present architectural solutions to Architecture and Design Review Boards, securing approvals and alignment.

- Assess the impact of evolving requirements on target architecture and recommend adjustments.

- Define and document architecture blueprints before handing over to Technical Leads for delivery execution.

- Provide thought leadership on enterprise architecture practices, integration strategies, and emerging technologies.

Required Experience & Skills:

- Domain Expertise: Strong background in Commercial Banking, with exposure to Lending and/or Pricing platforms.

- Enterprise Solution Architecture: Proven track record of designing large scale, enterprise grade solutions.

- Cloud Platforms: Hands on experience with AWS architecture, services, and governance.

- Integration Architecture: Deep knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and middleware.

- Data Architecture: Experience defining enterprise data models, data lakes, and scalable data solutions.

- Event Driven Systems: Proficiency with Kafka, MQ, or similar messaging/event driven architectures.

- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and technical teams alike.
