We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake, Python development, and modern data engineering practices. The role involves contributing to the full software development lifecycleincluding design, coding, testing, and deploymentwith a focus on cloud databases, automation, and data pipelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Python. - Follow established SDLC practices to build, test, and deploy secure and maintainable code. - Collaborate with team members in reviewing requirements, designs, and code to ensure quality and consistency. - Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (preferably using GitHub Actions). - Work with Control-M or similar tools for scheduling and monitoring data workflows. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems and applications. - Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability. - Contribute to and maintain technical documentation, including system and operational level documentation. Required Skills : - 6+ years of experience in software/data engineering roles. - Strong proficiency in Snowflake (mandatory). - Strong development experience in Python (mandatory). - Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments. - Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines. - Familiarity with IDE tools (preferably Visual Studio Code). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub for version control. - Experience with testing and automation frameworks. Preferred Skills : - Hands-on experience with Control-M or other job scheduling tools. - Prior experience working with cloud-native data platforms and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of GitHub Actions for automated deployments. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams. Education Qualification : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
