About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and self-driven Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic technology team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MEAN or MERN stack development, relational databases, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support for web and mobile applications.

The role also involves taking ownership of projects, providing technical guidance to team members, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy web and mobile applications using MEAN/MERN stack technologies.

- Take ownership of assigned projects and provide technical direction and guidance throughout the development lifecycle.

- Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications following established coding and development standards.

- Collaborate with SMEs, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and solve complex technical challenges.

- Lead and mentor development team members and contribute to technical decision-making.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices using tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.

- Work with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms for application deployment, scalability, and infrastructure integration.

- Design, develop, and optimize relational databases such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Ensure database performance, data integrity, security, and efficient query execution.

- Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to application testing, debugging, performance optimization, and deployment activities.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and development practices to continuously improve the technology stack.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- 4 - 6 years of overall IT experience in software development.

- Strong hands-on experience with MEAN or MERN stack.

- Good knowledge of MongoDB, Express.js, Angular/React.js, Node.js, and Python.

- Strong experience with relational databases, preferably MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and/or Azure DevOps.

- Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.

- Experience in application deployment and cloud-based environments.

- Good understanding of SDLC, coding standards, software architecture, testing methodologies, and deployment strategies.

- Hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
