Senior Software Engineer - Java

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications aligned with supply chain business requirements.

- Build scalable and high-performance systems for modules such as warehouse management, transportation, order processing, and demand forecasting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments.

- Contribute to system architecture discussions and help improve application performance and scalability.

- Ensure application security, data integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5- 8 years of hands-on experience in software development using Java.

- Strong knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.

- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Proficiency in working with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

- Understanding of supply chain concepts such as inventory management, order lifecycle, and logistics processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
