Role Overview :

Collabera is hiring Senior SDET professionals to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative for one of Australia's Big 4 banks. This role emphasizes test automation, quality engineering, and CI/CD integration within cloud-native and containerized environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Selenium with Java, exposure to AWS and Docker, and a solid understanding of non-functional testing (NFR). Experience or interest in AI/ML and GenAI-driven testing is highly desirable. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium and Java

- Analyze complex technical requirements and review system architecture and solution designs

- Define and implement automation strategies and quality engineering best practices

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions

- Execute tests in cloud-based and containerized environments (AWS, Docker)

- Manage and validate ephemeral and dynamic test environments

- Perform Non-Functional Testing (NFR) including performance, scalability, and reliability

- Leverage AI-driven testing tools to improve test efficiency and coverage

- Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases

- Identify, report, and drive resolution of defects across the SDLC

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation

- Proven hands-on expertise in Selenium and Java

- Strong understanding of test architecture, automation strategy, and engineering best practices

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions

- Solid knowledge of AWS cloud services and Docker

- Experience with containerized test execution and environment management

- Strong understanding of Non-Functional Testing (NFR) methodologies

- Exposure to AI-driven testing tools and their application in quality engineering

- Working knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI concepts and how they enhance software productivity

- Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams

Good to Have :

- AWS or other cloud certifications

- Prior experience with SWIFT messaging and payment systems
