Role Overview :

We are looking for an AI-Native Senior Software Development Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Flutter and Dart, along with working knowledge of React.js and backend technologies such as Java/Spring Boot or Node.js. The role involves building scalable mobile and web applications for public health and governance platforms. The ideal candidate should actively use AI coding assistants in day-to-day development and apply sound engineering judgment to validate AI-generated code for quality, security, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.

- Build reusable, responsive, and accessible UI components and application workflows.

- Develop and maintain web interfaces using React.js.

- Integrate applications with REST APIs and troubleshoot frontend, mobile, and backend issues.

- Own features end-to-end, from understanding requirements and solution design to development, testing, and release.

- Use AI coding tools for implementation, debugging, testing, refactoring, code reviews, and documentation.

- Review and validate AI-generated code to ensure correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and follow engineering best practices.

- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Required Skills and Experience :

1. Flutter / Mobile Development :

- 3 - 4 years of hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.

- Experience with state management patterns, preferably BLoC.

- Knowledge of pub.dev, Flutter packages, and dependency management.

- Experience with local storage solutions such as SQLite.

- Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests for Flutter applications.

- Ability to debug, maintain, and enhance existing Flutter codebases.

2. React.js :

- Hands-on experience developing web interfaces using React.js.

- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.

- Experience with state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, React Query, or custom hooks.

- Understanding of reusable components and frontend design patterns.

- Familiarity with NPM and dependency management.

3. Backend and API Integration :

- Experience building or integrating REST APIs.

- Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot or Node.js.

- Understanding of API contracts, authentication, authorization, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

- Ability to troubleshoot backend issues affecting mobile and web application workflows.

4. AI-Native Development :

- Daily, hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar tools.

- Ability to use AI tools for coding, testing, debugging, refactoring, and documentation.

- Strong judgment in reviewing and validating AI-generated code before release.

- Exposure to LLM APIs, RAG, or agentic AI frameworks is an advantage.

5. Engineering Practices :

- Experience with Git, Docker, Jenkins, and Postman.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ownership skills.

- Product development experience; SaaS or platform product experience is preferred.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Webpack, Babel, CSS preprocessors, or Micro-Frontend architecture.

- Exposure to LLM integrations, RAG, or agentic frameworks.

- Strong user-centric design thinking and the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into simple, effective solutions.
