Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and maintain applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience delivering at least 1-2 full ServiceNow projects independently, from requirement gathering to deployment, and can work with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and customize applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform (custom apps, or other modules as applicable).

- Build and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, ACLs, and workflows/flow designer flows.

- Develop and integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub.

- Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions on the platform.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and defects.

- Collaborate with business analysts, admins, and stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.

- Work independently with minimal guidance, taking ownership of assigned modules/projects end-to-end.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7+ years of overall IT development experience, with at least 1-2 years / 1-2 full-cycle projects specifically on the ServiceNow platform (custom application development, not just configuration).

- Strong hands-on experience with:

1. Glide APIs, Server-side & Client-side scripting (JavaScript)

2. Flow Designer / Workflow Editor

3. Service Portal / Now Experience UI Builder

4. App Engine Studio (for custom app development)

5. Integration Hub, REST/SOAP Web Services, MID Server

6. ACLs, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions

- Experience in at least one ServiceNow custom Application implementation.

- Understanding of ServiceNow data model, tables, and CMDB (preferred).

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodology.

- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver without close supervision.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have:

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

- Exposure to DevOps practices for ServiceNow (source control, CI/CD for ServiceNow instances).
