Role Overview :

As a Senior SAP TM Consultant, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Transportation Management solutions for our clients. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical experts to understand their transportation needs and translate them into effective SAP TM configurations and custom developments. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules like EWM and LE, ultimately driving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving overall supply chain performance for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and configuration of SAP TM solutions to meet specific business requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

- Conduct workshops with clients to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose optimal SAP TM solutions.

- Develop functional specifications for custom developments, including enhancements, interfaces, and reports, leveraging SAP BOPF and BRF+ frameworks.

- Configure and customize SAP TM functionalities, such as transportation planning, execution, freight settlement, and charge management.

- Integrate SAP TM with other SAP modules, including SAP EWM, SAP LE, and SAP S/4HANA, to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.

- Provide expert guidance and support to project teams during all phases of the SAP implementation lifecycle, from blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP TM issues, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize disruptions to business operations.

- Mentor and coach junior consultants, sharing your expertise and contributing to their professional development.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to design and implement end-to-end SAP TM solutions, covering transportation planning, execution, and freight settlement processes.

- Proven expertise in configuring and customizing SAP TM functionalities, including master data setup, transportation cockpit, and event management.

- Strong understanding of SAP Logistics processes and integration points with other SAP modules, such as SAP EWM and SAP LE.

- Experience in developing functional specifications for custom developments using SAP BOPF and BRF+ frameworks.

- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of resolving complex SAP TM issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, both on-site and remotely.

- Experience with SAP HANA is a plus.

- Minimum of 5 years and up to 15 years of experience in SAP TM implementation projects.
