Sr. SAP SD Consultant (Remote)

Role Overview :

As a seasoned Sr. SAP SD Consultant, you will be instrumental in leading complex SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) transformations and optimization initiatives for our diverse client portfolio. This role involves spearheading solution design, configuration, and implementation across the full spectrum of SAP SD functionalities, leveraging advanced capabilities of SAP HANA, integrating with SAP APO for supply chain planning, and utilizing SAP BTP for innovative extensions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional business stakeholders, client leadership, and internal project teams, translating intricate business requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions. Your expertise will directly impact business efficiency, enhance customer experience, and drive strategic growth by optimizing sales processes, improving order fulfillment, and ensuring seamless revenue recognition for our clients. This is a critical leadership role for professionals with 10 to 20 years of dedicated SAP experience, offering the flexibility of remote work from Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end SAP SD/OTC solution design and implementation for complex business requirements, ensuring alignment with client strategic objectives and industry best practices.

- Architect scalable and robust SAP solutions leveraging SAP HANA capabilities, integrating with SAP APO for advanced planning and SAP BTP for custom extensions, to deliver superior business outcomes.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

- Drive process optimization initiatives within the Order-to-Cash cycle, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains that directly impact profitability and customer experience.

- Mentor junior consultants, providing technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the SAP practice.

- Oversee system testing, data migration, and post-go-live support activities, ensuring seamless transitions and stable operations for critical business processes.

Required Skillset :

- Deep expertise in SAP SD and OTC processes, including sales order management, pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and revenue recognition.

- Proven ability to design and implement solutions leveraging SAP HANA for performance and analytics.

- Experience with SAP APO for demand planning and global available-to-promise, and practical application of SAP BTP for innovative extensions and integrations.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of successfully guiding large-scale projects and mentoring teams.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from a premier institution.

- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a remote work environment, maintaining high levels of productivity, collaboration, and client engagement across diverse geographical locations.
