Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior SAP SD Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise across the Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle to lead configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Sales & Distribution processes. The ideal candidate will act as a functional SME, driving end-to-end OTC solutions, engaging directly with business stakeholders, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end configuration and implementation of SAP SD/OTC processes: order management, pricing, availability check (ATP), credit management, shipping/delivery, billing, and revenue recognition.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, working closely with FI/CO, MM, and PP teams for cross-module integration.

- Design and configure complex pricing procedures, condition techniques, output determination, and partner determination.

- Handle intercompany sales, third-party sales, consignment, returns, rebates, and STO (Stock Transport Orders) processes.

- Lead SAP implementation/rollout projects (S/4HANA experience preferred) including blueprinting, realization, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and hypercare support.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues (P1/P2) related to order-to-cash processes.

- Write functional specifications for custom developments (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms) and coordinate with ABAP developers.

- Conduct integration testing across SD-FI-MM-WM/EWM landscape.

- Mentor and guide junior consultants; review deliverables for quality and completeness.

- Interface directly with client stakeholders/business users, manage expectations, and present solution designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience, with strong exposure to the full Order-to-Cash cycle.

- Minimum 23 full life-cycle SAP implementations (ECC and/or S/4HANA) plus support/rollout project experience.

- Strong configuration expertise: pricing procedures, condition types, output determination, credit management, availability check, shipping point determination, route determination.

- Solid understanding of integration points with FI (revenue recognition, billing), MM (procurement, STO), and WM/EWM (warehouse/logistics).

- Experience with S/4HANA SD (Advanced ATP, Fiori apps for OTC) strongly preferred.

- Exposure to LSMW/BDC/Data Migration tools for master data (customer master, pricing conditions) is a plus.

- Ability to write and review functional specs (FS) for RICEFW objects.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

- SAP SD certification is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory).

Nice to Have :

- Experience in a specific industry vertical (Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, Pharma, etc.) relevant to the hiring company.

- Exposure to SAP CPQ, Vistex (rebate management), or GTS (Global Trade Services).

- Team lead / people management experience.
