Role Overview :

As a Senior SAP MM Consultant, you will serve as a strategic bridge between complex business requirements and robust technical solutions. You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Materials Management modules, ensuring that supply chain processes are seamless, scalable, and efficient.

Working closely with cross-functional teams, global stakeholders, and technical architects, you will drive digital transformation initiatives that directly impact inventory accuracy, procurement efficiency, and overall operational excellence. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our supply chain landscape, requiring a balance of deep functional expertise and the ability to translate business pain points into high-impact SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and configure SAP MM solutions, including Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification, to align with evolving business needs and industry best practices.

- Lead complex full-cycle implementation projects by managing blueprinting, gap analysis, and system configuration to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

- Collaborate with business process owners to identify process bottlenecks and implement automated workflows that enhance procurement productivity and reduce operational costs.

- Provide expert-level support for production issues, performing root cause analysis to minimize system downtime and maintain business continuity.

- Mentor junior consultants and offshore teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and knowledge sharing to elevate the collective capability of the SAP practice.

- Partner with technical teams to develop custom RICEFW objects, ensuring that all enhancements are scalable, maintainable, and fully integrated with other SAP modules like FI, SD, and PP.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in configuring SAP MM processes, including master data management, pricing procedures, and release strategies, with a proven track record of handling complex global rollouts.

- Strong analytical ability to troubleshoot integration issues between MM and other SAP modules, ensuring data integrity and seamless cross-functional workflows.

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical business leaders and influence decision-making.

- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects within a remote or distributed environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration across multiple time zones.

- A proactive mindset toward continuous learning, with the ability to adapt to new SAP technologies such as S/4HANA and Fiori-based procurement applications.

- A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by a professional certification in SAP MM or S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement.

- Ability to thrive in a flexible, pan-India work environment, demonstrating self-discipline and the capacity to deliver results independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
