Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our team. As a senior consultant with 4+ years of expertise in the SAP Materials Management (MM) module, you will be responsible for leading the configuration, implementation, and optimization of SAP MM solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, and deploy SAP MM processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes, along with the ability to provide expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the implementation and configuration of SAP MM (Materials Management) to meet business needs and optimize material management processes.

- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, integration, testing, and go-live support.

- Oversee and manage SAP MM customization and integration with other SAP modules (SD,PP, FI, WM, etc.) to ensure end-to-end process efficiency.

- Provide guidance and expertise in the configuration of procurement processes, inventory management, vendor management, material master management, and invoice verification.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as SD,PP, FI, WM) to ensure the smooth integration of SAP MM with other business functions.

- Conduct business process analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and implement enhancements in SAP MM.

- Develop and maintain functional specifications, documentation, and user manuals related to SAP MM configurations and processes.

- Design and execute system testing (unit, integration, UAT) to ensure proper functionality and end-user satisfaction.

- Support data migration activities, ensuring smooth and accurate data transfer to SAP MM from legacy systems.

- Provide end-user training, create training materials, and offer ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of SAP MM solutions.

- Assist in the preparation and execution of cutover and go-live plans and ensure successful transition to the live environment.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, providing timely solutions and root-cause analysis.

- Continuously monitor and assess SAP MM processes to ensure ongoing optimization and alignment with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM (Materials Management), including strong expertise in procurement, inventory management, and vendor management.

- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP MM implementations, upgrades, and post-go-live support.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP MM modules, including procurement processes, material master management, inventory management, vendor management, and invoice verification.

- Solid understanding of SAP integration with other SAP modules like SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), SAP FI (Financial Accounting), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), and other external systems.

- Experience in SAP MM configuration, including customizing procurement types, material types, pricing procedures, inventory management, and vendor master data.

- Strong proficiency in system testing (unit, integration, and UAT) and issue resolution.

- Experience in data migration, with knowledge of tools like LSMW or SAP Data Services.

- Ability to create functional specifications and contribute to design documents.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with business users and technical teams.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across various teams and departments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP MM Certification (SAP Certified Application Associate or similar) is highly preferred.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and its latest features related to SAP MM.

- Knowledge of advanced SAP MM topics, including material ledger, valuation methods, batch management, and stock transfer processes.

- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for improved user experience and front-end functionality.

- Hands-on experience with data migration tools such as LSMW, BODS, or SAP Data Services.

- Exposure to Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile-based SAP projects.

- Understanding of global supply chain processes and how to implement SAP MM solutions in multi-site or multinational environments.

- Knowledge of procurement and supply chain best practices, as well as how to align SAP MM functionality with these practices.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori Apps for MM

- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and internal controls relevant to procurement and supply chain operations.
