Role Overview :

As a SAP MDG Technical Senior Analyst, you will serve as a pivotal technical lead responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Master Data Governance solutions. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business process owners, and cross-functional IT teams to translate complex business requirements into high-performing MDG configurations.

Your work will directly influence the integrity and consistency of enterprise data, ensuring that stakeholders across the organization have reliable information to drive critical business decisions. This role demands a blend of deep technical expertise in ABAP and MDG frameworks to solve intricate data challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement end-to-end MDG solutions, including Data Modelling, UI Modelling, and Process Modelling, to streamline master data management workflows.

- Configure and manage complex data replication techniques and ALE/IDOCs to ensure seamless data synchronization across heterogeneous system landscapes.

- Develop and maintain custom logic using ABAP Object Oriented Programming, BADI implementations, and Webdynpro to meet unique business requirements.

- Design and execute robust error handling mechanisms within MDG to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues before they impact downstream processes.

- Build and maintain BRF+ applications and SAP Workflows to automate governance processes and enforce business rules effectively.

- Utilize migration tools and LSMW to facilitate large-scale data transitions, ensuring data accuracy and compliance during system upgrades or integrations.

- Integrate SAP MDG with external systems through Webservices and NetWeaver to support a unified enterprise data architecture.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrate 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG technical development, with a deep understanding of FPM and ABAP reporting.

- Exhibit strong proficiency in ABAP Object Oriented Programming and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues within the NetWeaver environment.

- Possess excellent analytical skills to interpret business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure project alignment and transparency.

- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, on-site environment in Bangalore.

- Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a proven track record of delivering high-quality SAP solutions.
