Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Fiori Consultant to join the SAP Center of Excellence team.

This role is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of SAP Fiori applications and UX enhancements within the S/4HANA 2307 landscape, supporting users across India, Dubai, and Africa.

The consultant will work closely with business process owners, functional consultants (SD, FICO, MM, PP), and technical teams (ABAP, BASIS, Security) to deliver intuitive and efficient SAP user experiences aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP Fiori apps (Transactional, Analytical, and Fact Sheets) for multiple business functions.

- Design and develop custom Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE, BAS, and SAPUI5 framework.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into user-centric Fiori solutions.

- Configure and manage Fiori Launchpad (FLP) catalog, group, and role assignments via PFCG and Fiori Designer.

- Perform Fiori app activation, OData service setup, and backend integration via SAP Gateway.

- Support Fiori and UI5 upgrade activities as part of the S/4HANA 1709 ? 2307 migration, ensuring backward compatibility and performance optimization.

- Work on Fiori app extensions and adaptations (BAdI, CDS view-based extensions) for custom reporting and transactional flows.

- Collaborate with Basis/Security teams for authorization roles and catalog-based access control.

- Monitor and troubleshoot OData services, cache issues, and app performance.

- Coordinate with business users for UAT, deployment, and training.

- Ensure compliance with SAP UX guidelines and design principles.

- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing Fiori apps and tiles across business modules.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 10 years of SAP experience, with at least 4+ years in Fiori/UI5 development and administration.

- Strong hands-on experience in :

a. SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML

b. OData Service Integration (SAP Gateway / SEGW)

c. Fiori Launchpad configuration and personalization

- Good understanding of S/4HANA Fiori architecture, including standard Fiori apps activation and catalog management.

- Experience in CDS Views, Annotations, and Smart Controls for analytical and list report apps.

- Familiarity with Fiori Elements and SAP BAS (Business Application Studio).

- Understanding of backend integration with modules like SD, MM, FICO, and EWM.

- Ability to debug and optimize OData performance and UI rendering.

- Experience with transport management (CTS+) for Fiori objects.

- Exposure to mobile-responsive Fiori apps, offline capabilities, and device testing.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- SAP Certified in SAP Fiori Application Developer or SAP UI5 Developer.

- Experience with S/4HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS, Query Browser, KPI apps).

- Familiarity with SAP Build Work Zone, SAP Mobile Start, or SAP Launchpad Service.

- Knowledge of UX strategy and usability best practices.

The consultant will be part of the SAP S/4HANA 1709 ? 2307 Upgrade Program, driving the Fiori enablement and user experience modernization across entities in India, Dubai, and Africa.

The focus areas include :

- Activation and customization of standard Fiori apps

- Development of custom UI5 apps and dashboards

- Optimization of launchpad performance and role-based access

- Ensuring seamless user adoption and process efficiency
