Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA technologies to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, enhancing, customizing, and supporting SAP applications using modern ABAP programming techniques.

The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, OData services, RICEF developments, and SAP integration. The role requires the ability to deliver high-quality SAP solutions, optimize application performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with functional consultants and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming in the SAP S/4HANA environment.

- Develop and optimize ABAP programs using modern ABAP on HANA techniques.

- Create and maintain Core Data Services (CDS) Views to support reporting, data modeling, and application development.

- Develop and implement ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for complex data processing and performance optimization.

- Design, develop, and maintain OData services for SAP Fiori applications and external system integrations.

- Handle end-to-end RICEF developments, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms.

- Develop custom reports, interfaces, user exits, customer exits, BAdIs, enhancements, and forms based on business requirements.

- Work on SAP integration requirements, including data exchange between SAP and external applications.

- Analyze technical specifications and convert functional requirements into efficient technical solutions.

- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of SAP application issues.

- Optimize ABAP code and database access to improve system performance and response times.

- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

- Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver project requirements.

- Support unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.

- Prepare technical specifications and documentation for custom developments and enhancements.

- Provide technical support for existing SAP applications and assist with production issues when required.
