Location : Remote (Travel to client location within India once a month, based on project requirements)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP technical enhancements. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience in developing custom SAP solutions, interfaces, reports, forms, enhancements, and SAP Fiori applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications while collaborating closely with functional consultants, business users, and technical teams. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong debugging capabilities, and experience working on enterprise SAP implementation and support projects.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP ABAP Development :

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications across various SAP modules.

- Develop scalable, reusable, and high-performance ABAP solutions following SAP development standards.

- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements.

Reports & Programming :

- Develop and maintain Classical, Interactive, and Object-Oriented ALV Reports.

- Develop custom reports to support business operations and analytics.

- Optimize existing ABAP programs for better performance and maintainability.

SAP Forms :

- Design and develop SAP Scripts, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.

- Customize print layouts and business documents.

- Support document generation and output management.

Data Conversion & Migration :

- Develop and execute data migration programs using BDC and LSMW.

- Support data uploads, data validation, and migration activities during implementation projects.

- Ensure data integrity throughout migration processes.

Interfaces & Integration :

- Develop and maintain interfaces using BAPIs, RFCs, ALE, IDOCs, and Proxy technologies.

- Integrate SAP with external applications and third-party systems.

- Support API-based integrations where required.

- Troubleshoot interface failures and optimize integration performance.

Enhancements & Custom Development :

- Develop and implement :

1. BADIs

2. User Exits

3. Customer Exits

4. Enhancement Spots

- Build custom developments based on business requirements.

- Perform code reviews and ensure SAP development best practices.

SAP Fiori & Modern ABAP :

- Develop applications using the SAP ABAP Programming Model for SAP Fiori.

- Work with SAP ABAP 7.4+ syntax and modern development techniques.

- Develop and consume OData Services.

- Build and optimize Core Data Services (CDS Views).

- Collaborate with UI developers for SAP Fiori applications.

- Support SAP UI5 and JavaScript-based front-end development.

SAP EWM Development :

- Develop and support custom solutions within SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

- Customize warehouse processes and integrate EWM with other SAP modules.

- Support enhancements and interfaces specific to warehouse operations.

Debugging & Support :

- Perform advanced debugging and root cause analysis.

- Resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Provide technical support during implementation, testing, Go-Live, and Hypercare phases.

- Ensure timely resolution of SAP incidents and change requests.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with Functional Consultants, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.

- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and release activities.

- Mentor junior ABAP developers and promote development best practices.

- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer documents.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong experience in SAP ABAP Development.

- Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP Programming.

- Experience with Data Dictionary Objects and Dialog Programming.

- Hands-on experience developing Classical, Interactive, and Object-Oriented ALV Reports.

- Strong expertise in BDC and LSMW for data migration.

- Experience developing SAP Scripts, SmartForms, and Adobe Forms.

- Hands-on experience with BAPIs, RFCs, ALE, IDOCs, and Proxy development.

- Experience implementing BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Spots.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

- Experience with SAP ABAP 7.4+ syntax and modern ABAP development.

- Good understanding of SAP Fiori development and ABAP Programming Model.

- Experience with OData Services and Core Data Services (CDS Views).

- Knowledge of SAP UI5 and JavaScript.

- Good exposure to SAP EWM technical development.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Candidate Profile :

- Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development across implementation, rollout, and support projects.

- Strong technical expertise in SAP custom development and integration.

- Experience working on SAP S/4HANA projects is highly preferred.

- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams.

- Comfortable travelling to client locations within India once a month when required.

- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- SAP ABAP or SAP S/4HANA technical certification is an added advantage
