Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in S/4HANA technologies to design, develop, and implement scalable SAP solutions. The role involves providing technical leadership, guiding offshore development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, and collaborating with functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality and sustainable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance SAP RICEFW objects and custom ABAP solutions.

- Lead and mentor ABAP developers while ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed.

- Perform code reviews and troubleshoot complex technical issues to improve system performance and reliability.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional consultants to analyze requirements and recommend technical solutions.

- Develop and support SAP S/4HANA applications using ABAP, CDS Views, OData services, Fiori, RAP, and SAP BTP technologies.

- Provide technical support during SAP upgrades, migrations, and patch activities by adapting and optimizing custom developments.

- Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of development objects.

- Create and maintain technical specifications, test scripts, and development documentation.

- Support integration across SAP modules including FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, and EWM.

- Promote clean core principles and modern SAP development approaches.

Required Skills :

- Strong expertise in SAP ABAP and S/4HANA development.

- Experience with RICEFW objects and modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData, Fiori, RAP, and SAP BTP.

- Knowledge of S/4HANA coding standards and architecture.

- Experience leading or managing offshore development teams.

- Understanding of clean core and low-code/no-code concepts.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Functional understanding of SAP modules including FICO, MM, SD, PP, QM, and EWM.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP and Fiori development.

- Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is highly preferred.
