Role Overview :

As an SAP ABAP Senior Consultant based in Vadodara, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of high-quality technical solutions within the SAP ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on S/4HANA. This position demands close collaboration with functional consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into effective technical specifications and robust ABAP code. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of critical business processes for our clients, ensuring seamless system operations and an enhanced user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the technical design and development of complex ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) within SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments for various client projects.

- Collaborate extensively with functional teams to analyze intricate business requirements, propose optimal technical solutions, and ensure precise alignment between business needs and technical capabilities.

- Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and provide comprehensive support for user acceptance testing (UAT) to guarantee the quality, performance, and reliability of all developed solutions.

- Offer expert guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the development team.

- Actively participate in code reviews, enforce stringent coding standards, and contribute to the development and refinement of best practices for ABAP development and S/4HANA implementations.

- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely and effective support for both existing SAP applications and new deployments to minimize business disruption.

- Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies, particularly in S/4HANA, Fiori, and cloud integration, to proactively recommend innovative solutions and drive continuous technological advancement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated deep expertise in SAP ABAP development, including ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, RFCs, and classical ABAP programming.

- Proven experience with S/4HANA development paradigms, encompassing CDS views, AMDP, OData services, and Fiori application development using SAPUI5.

- Strong understanding of core SAP functional modules (e.g., FI/CO, SD, MM, PP) to effectively integrate technical solutions with overarching business processes.

- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of dissecting complex technical challenges and devising practical, scalable, and sustainable solutions.

- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and clear articulation of complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field from a reputable institution.

- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, client-facing environment based out of our Vadodara office, contributing significantly to both individual project success and overall team objectives.
