Role Overview :

As a Senior SAP ABAP / CDS Views Developer, you will serve as a technical lead responsible for designing and implementing robust backend solutions within the S/4HANA ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and solution architects to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs. Your work will directly influence the performance and efficiency of enterprise-grade applications, ensuring that our clients leverage the full potential of modern SAP technologies to drive their digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop complex CDS views to enable high-performance data modeling and reporting for S/4HANA environments.

- Architect and implement AMDPs to optimize database-level processing and improve overall application response times.

- Build and maintain OData services via SAP Gateway to facilitate seamless integration between SAP backend systems and frontend interfaces.

- Develop modern, responsive applications using SAP UI5 and the SAP RAP framework to enhance user experience and business process automation.

- Conduct rigorous code reviews and performance tuning to ensure all technical deliverables meet enterprise standards for security and scalability.

- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adherence to SAP best practices.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in advanced ABAP programming, specifically within S/4HANA environments, with a strong focus on clean code principles.

- Proven ability to design sophisticated data models using CDS Views and implement business logic through AMDPs.

- Hands-on experience in building OData services and consuming them within SAP UI5 applications to deliver intuitive user interfaces.

- Strong understanding of the SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming) model for developing cloud-ready applications.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and project managers.

- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively in a hybrid team environment based in Bangalore.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, supported by 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in SAP development.
