Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications

- Build high-quality, reusable, and efficient code

- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and DevOps

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and security

- Implement background jobs, caching strategies, and performance improvements

- Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of professional experience in similar development roles

- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails

- Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)

- Experience building RESTful APIs

- Familiarity with background jobs, caching, and performance tuning

- Proficiency with Git version control

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines

- Comfort working with cloud environments (AWS preferred)

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup

Nice to Have :

Experience in EdTech or SaaS products

Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes

Exposure to frontend frameworks (React/Vue/Hotwire)

Test-driven development (RSpec/Minitest)
