Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong Oracle EBS Testing expertise to join our clients project on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle EBS modules and will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of EBS applications through comprehensive testing strategies in an Agile environment.

This is a remote contract opportunity ideal for seasoned QA professionals who can independently handle end-to-end testing, API/integration testing, and performance testing while coordinating effectively with onshore and offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform End-to-End Testing and functional validation across Oracle EBS modules including Order Management (OM), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Finance, and Warehouse Management System (WMS).

- Conduct Integration and API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or equivalent.

- Work with JSON and XML structures for API payload validation and troubleshooting.

- Utilize Oracle Database knowledge to write and execute SQL queries, understand base tables, and perform basic joins for data validation and test case preparation.

- Execute Performance Testing to identify bottlenecks and ensure system scalability.

- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams for requirement understanding, defect triage, and timely resolution.

- Manage test artifacts and track progress using Jira in an Agile Methodology environment.

- Understand and support CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment.

- Contribute to test automation initiatives (added advantage).

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Required Skillset (Minimum 7+ years hands-on experience) :

- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS modules - OM, P2P, Finance, and WMS.

- Solid Oracle EBS Technical knowledge including base tables and basic SQL joins.

- Proficiency in Integration/API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, or similar).

- Clear understanding of JSON/XML data structures.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Database for backend testing.

- Experience in On-site / Offshore coordination and stakeholder management.

- Expertise in End-to-End Testing and Performance Testing.

- Familiarity with Jira board, Agile Methodology, and CI/CD processes.

- Test Automation experience is a strong plus.

Education :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
