Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives across our software products. This role involves designing effective testing strategies, building scalable automation frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, along with a proactive approach to improving quality processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement test plans, test strategies, and QA processes

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or similar

- Execute manual and automated test cases across functional, regression, integration, and API testing

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria

- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution

- Perform root cause analysis and support continuous improvement

- Monitor and report QA metrics such as test coverage and defect trends

- Contribute to release planning and risk assessment

- Ensure adherence to QA standards, best practices, and processes

- Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing within them

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance

- Strong experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Katalon, or similar

- Proficiency in at least one programming language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or similar)

- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and microservices

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

- Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured)

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with performance and security testing

- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

- Experience in test strategy planning and process improvement

- Background working in product-based or data-driven environments
