Job Title : Senior QA Automation Engineer (Playwright + Performance Testing)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright framework and Performance Testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, along with a solid understanding of API testing, databases, and modern software development methodologies. This role requires strong coding skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.

- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable test scripts with a strong focus on code quality.

- Perform end-to-end, functional, regression, and performance testing of applications.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.

- Conduct API testing using tools like SoapUI and Postman, ensuring seamless integration between systems and business partners.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

- Develop and execute performance testing strategies to ensure system scalability and reliability.

- Work with databases to validate data integrity and ensure quality across data pipelines.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Continuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience in Software QA with a strong focus on Automation Testing.

- Hands-on expertise in Playwright automation framework with strong coding skills.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and/or Python, with good understanding of test automation architecture.

- Experience in Performance Testing (load, stress, scalability testing).

- Strong experience in API testing using tools like SoapUI and Postman.

- Solid knowledge of SQL with hands-on experience in database validation and queries.

- Good understanding of relational and dimensional databases.

- Familiarity with other automation tools like Selenium, TestComplete, etc.

- Experience working in Agile Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have:

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Experience in testing microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
