Position summary:

We are seeking a Senior Product Specialist - ServiceNow BA to support end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow implementation projects. This role will work closely with stakeholders, clients, and delivery teams to translate business needs into functional solutions across ServiceNow platforms.

Work you'll do:

As a Senior Product Specialist - ServiceNow BA on the ServiceNow CoE team, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow implementation projects. This role requires translating business requirements into functional specifications, supporting solution planning, and serving as a liaison between stakeholders and implementation teams.

- Lead the Business Analyst team within the ServiceNow CoE.

Operational:

- Demonstrates the ability to understand complex business and functional requirements.

- Should have good hands-on experience in Requirement Elicitation Techniques, UML and documentation.

- Understand the business processes in detail, applying technical knowledge to shape and plan solutions to deliver and liaise with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate these requirements into ServiceNow functional specifications.

- Should have hands-on experience in sprint planning, tracking, grooming, and prioritizing backlog items.

- Translate requirements from projects and changes into functional specifications for internal and external delivery parties.

- Create and maintain the Business Blueprint (detailed process description and requirements document).

- Should have a good understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe practices.

- Should have good experience in cross-domain communication, conducting JAD, and stakeholder management.

- Develop acceptance criteria for projects, test plans, and test cases.

- Perform final validation of solution before submission to requester to run the User Acceptance Test.

- Demonstrated experience in dealing with business stakeholders, understanding their requirements, and translating them to functional specifications.

- Work with SMEs, leads, managers, resources, and project/delivery managers to finalize solutions and estimates.

- Manage the Q&A process, including question collection, consolidation, and facilitation with clients.

- Work with project/delivery managers to devise the timeline and schedule for project execution.

- Act as a bridge between the client and delivery team during transition of won opportunities, and support the delivery team during the early stages of the discovery phase.

- Ensure timely and quality delivery of opportunities.

- Stay aligned to best practices and support innovative solutions with understanding of ITIL processes and stakeholder requirements.

The team:

The ServiceNow CoE supports the implementation of solutions across GRC/IRM, ITSM, ITBM, and HRSD for multiple member firms across regions. The team works closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, shape scalable solutions, and support consistent delivery standards.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications:

Required:

- Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Technology, or equivalent technical degree

- 8 - 10 years of experience in a similar role within an enterprise organization

- 5+ years of experience working as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst in one or more of the following ServiceNow modules: CMDB

- Experience with requirement elicitation techniques, Unified Modeling Language (UML), and documentation

- Experience with sprint planning, backlog tracking, backlog grooming, and backlog prioritization

- ITIL Foundation certification

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Preferred:

- Experience or knowledge of ITBM, ITFM, GRC, and CMDB

- ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
