Senior Product Manager - AI/ML

Job Description - Senior Product Manager (AI/ML) :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager - AI/ML to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of intelligent, data-driven products. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI/ML solutions, working closely with Data Science, Engineering, Design, and Business stakeholders to build scalable, impactful, and customer-centric products.

This role combines product thinking, technical depth in AI/ML, and strong business acumen to translate complex models into real-world value.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision :

- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML initiatives aligned with business goals

- Identify opportunities where AI/ML can drive automation, efficiency, or customer value

- Build business cases with ROI, cost-benefit, and impact analysis

Discovery & Problem Framing :

- Partner with stakeholders to identify high-value use cases

- Translate business problems into ML problem statements

- Define success metrics (precision/recall, lift, adoption, revenue impact, etc.)

Execution & Delivery :

- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation ? MVP ? scale

- Write PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria

- Prioritize backlog using data and business impact

- Work closely with Data Scientists and Engineers to deploy production-grade models

AI/ML Collaboration :

- Partner with DS/ML teams on :

i. Model design and experimentation

ii. Feature engineering

iii. Training/validation approach

iv. Model performance metrics

- Ensure models are explainable, scalable, and compliant

Stakeholder Management :

- Collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and Operations

- Communicate product strategy and results to leadership

- Align cross-functional teams on priorities

Measurement & Optimization :

- Track product KPIs and model performance

- Run A/B tests and experiments

- Drive continuous improvement using data insights

Required Qualifications :

- 6-10+ years of Product Management experience

- 3+ years building or managing AI/ML or Data products

- Strong understanding of ML concepts (classification, regression, NLP, recommender systems, etc.)

- Experience working with Data Science/Engineering teams

- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent stakeholder and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex, Azure ML)

- SQL/Python knowledge (working proficiency)

- Experience with experimentation frameworks/A-B testing

- Exposure to MLOps, model monitoring, and deployment pipelines

- MBA or technical background (Engineering/CS/Statistics)
