Senior Platform/Middleware Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking a Senior Platform / Middleware Engineer to lead the delivery of complex technical roadmaps and oversee end-to-end platform operations. This role involves designing, building, automating, and securing enterprise platforms while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will drive efficient delivery, manage multiple technology stacks, and advise stakeholders on best technical approaches.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement automation for monitoring, deployments, and plug-and-play environment setup

- Support Chaos Engineering and Disaster Recovery for non-production environments

- Manage security and compliance, including vulnerability assessment and patching

- Support CORS, HTTP2, HSTS, certificate and secrets management, including integration with AKS

- Perform code deployments and automation for Web Services and Adobe platforms

- Coordinate with squads, build, infrastructure, environment, and third-party teams for releases

- Provide ITSM support (Change, Incident, and Problem Management)

- Support Oracle Database activities including DDL, DML, and data engineering

- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience (or 8 years of equivalent experience without a degree)

- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure/platform delivery (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)

- Hands-on experience with :

1. Adobe Experience Manager, WebSphere, IBM HTTP Server

2. Oracle 19c / RDBMS

3. Virtual machines, storage, firewalls

4. Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins pipeline development

Preferred Skills :

- Strong understanding of security, compliance, caching, containers (Docker), Kubernetes, Jenkins-AKS operations

- Experience with load balancing and disaster recovery

- SME across multiple web and middleware technologies
