Senior Platform Engineer - Virtualization & OpenShift

We are hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to manage and support enterprise Linux platforms with a strong focus on Virtualization and Red Hat OpenShift. The role involves working on highly available, production-critical environments and collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure teams.

Skills & Responsibilities :

- Hands-on experience with Virtualization platforms:

- Red Hat Virtualization (RHV / KVM)

- VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)

- Deploying, managing, and supporting Red Hat OpenShift clusters

- Strong understanding of Kubernetes (RBAC, scheduling, ingress, storage)

- Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting

- Platform upgrades, patching, and capacity management

- Troubleshooting issues across VMs, containers, OS, storage, and network

- Experience supporting 24x7 production environments

- Exposure to OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt) is a plus

Nice to Have :

- Automation using Ansible / Shell

- CI/CD, GitOps exposure

- SAN/NAS storage knowledge

- Backup tools (NetBackup / Commvault)

- Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure / GCP)

- Experience in BFSI / regulated environments
