Job description :

We are hiring a senior platform/DevOps professional with around 10 years of experience for a Bengaluru-based role. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in OpenShift, CI/CD pipeline implementation, GitOps using ArgoCD, AWS platform support, and artifact repository management. This role requires a candidate who can deploy, manage, and support applications on OpenShift, troubleshoot pod, deployment, networking, and cluster-level issues, and drive automation to improve release reliability and reduce manual effort.

The candidate should be comfortable working primarily during EST hours and be open to occasional weekend support when required. Immediate joiners will be preferred. Final round will be face-to-face.

Responsibilities :

- Deploy, manage, and support applications on OpenShift

- Troubleshoot deployment, pod, service, networking, and cluster-level issues

- Manage OpenShift resources such as Projects, Routes, Services, ConfigMaps, and secrets.

- Ensure best practices for security, scalability, and availability

- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines

- Drive GitOps-based deployment workflows using ArgoCD

- Improve build, test, deployment, rollback, and release reliability

- Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and process optimization

- Work with AWS services supporting the platform, including EKS, IAM, S3, and EC2

- Manage and optimize Artifactory for artifact storage, access control, and versioning

Required skills :

- Around 10 years of overall IT experience

- Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift

- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation

- Working knowledge of GitOps and ArgoCD

- Experience with AWS services such as EKS, IAM, S3, and EC2

- Experience with Artifactory or similar artifact management tools

- Strong troubleshooting skills in platform/deployment environments

- Ability to support EST working hours

Optional / good-to-have skills :

- Strong scripting/automation exposure

- Production support / release engineering background

- Exposure to security and access-control best practices

- Weekend support readiness in platform operations environments
