Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced RMS Developer / Senior Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting, and Pro-C. The ideal candidate will have experience in Oracle Retail/Retek functionalities, database development, performance tuning, and production support.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, maintain, and support Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) applications.

- Work on Oracle Retail technical components using RMS with Pro-C or RMS with Oracle Forms and Reports.

- Develop and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution-plan analysis.

- Implement PL/SQL collections, BULK COLLECT, and bulk DML operations for efficient data processing.

- Develop and maintain UNIX Shell scripts for deployment, automation, and operational database tasks.

- Troubleshoot data inconsistencies, application defects, and production performance issues.

- Support Oracle Retail/Retek functionalities, including RMS and ReSA (Retail Sales Audit).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments and deliver work within sprint timelines.

- Use version control systems such as Git or SVN.

Mandatory Skills :

- Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) : Hands-on technical development experience; any version.

- SQL & PL/SQL : Strong development, debugging, and performance-tuning skills.

- UNIX Shell Scripting : Experience writing and maintaining scripts.

- Pro-C : Hands-on development experience.

Good to Have :

- Oracle Forms and Reports (10g/11g/12c).

- Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA).

- Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.

- SQL-Plus and Oracle SQL Developer.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Git/SVN.
