Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Oracle EPBCS Consultant to deliver enterprise-scale planning and budgeting solutions. This role involves solution design, implementation, optimization, and stakeholder engagement for complex financial planning environments.

Key Responsibilities :

EPBCS & EPM Solution Design :

- Lead end-to-end EPBCS implementations (Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Scenario Modeling) with all modules like CAPEX, Workforce, Finance and Projects.

- Design scalable, best-practice EPM models aligned with business requirements.

- Architect multidimensional models using Essbase (BSO/ASO).

- Define application structure : dimensions, hierarchies, member formulas, and business rules.

- Open to learn new EPM applications like ARCS, NR to support business requirements.

Operational Support :

- Provide hands-on training to end users on various aspects of applications.

- Coordinating testing efforts with business teams.

- Resolving product issues working with product vendors.

- Providing production support using service management tools and procedures for tracking, user communication and service level management.

- Independently handle projects and enhancements with a strong communication and coordination with business and other IT teams.

Technical Development :

- Develop and optimize Business Rules (Calc Manager).

- Develop and optimize Groovy scripts.

- Develop and optimize Data Maps.

- Develop and optimize Forms, Dashboards, and Reports.

- Perform performance tuning of EPBCS applications.

- Implement task lists, approvals, and security models.

Data Integration & Automation :

- Design and manage integrations using Data Management.

- Design and manage integrations using REST APIs.

- Design and manage integrations using EPM Automate.

- Design and manage integrations using Pipeline.

- Design and manage integrations using FDMEE (for hybrid environments).

- Design and manage integrations using Power Shell/ Batch Scripting.

- Integrate EPBCS with ERP systems (Oracle ERP Cloud / EBS / SAP).

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration :

- Act as solution architect and SME for EPBCS initiatives.

- Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams and provide technical guidance.

- Conduct requirement workshops with Finance stakeholders.

- Support UAT, production releases, and post-go-live enhancements.

Governance & Best Practices :

- Ensure adherence to Oracle EPM best practices.

- Define deployment, migration, and backup strategies.

- Maintain documentation and knowledge repositories.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Mandatory :

- 7+ years of experience in EPM / Financial Systems.

- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS / PBCS.

- Recommended to have experience in ARCS, NR.

- Expertise in EPBCS Planning Modules (Workforce, CapEx a plus).

- Expertise in Essbase calculations and performance tuning.

- Expertise in Metadata and data integration design.

- Expertise in Strong understanding of FP&A processes.

- Expertise in Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Desired / Good to Have :

- Oracle EPM Cloud certifications (EPBCS / Planning).

- Experience with FCCS / ARCS integrations.

- Exposure to Financial Close & Consolidation concepts.

- Experience in large global rollouts.
