Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Oracle EBS Finance Consultant with over 6 years of hands-on functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 / R12.2) Financial modules. In this role, you will lead end-to-end implementations, upgrades, process enhancements, and production support for multi-national financial systems. You will bridge the gap between business finance teams and technical developers, ensuring optimal business process design, compliance, and application performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Design & Business Architecture :

- Lead requirement-gathering workshops with finance stakeholders, controllers, and business process owners to capture business needs and perform gap analysis.

- Design, configure, and maintain core Oracle EBS Financial modules in alignment with global accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, local statutory requirements).

- Author comprehensive functional specification documents (AIM/OUM deliverables such as BR030, BR100, MD050, CV040, and TE040).

- Define and configure Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules to map subledger transactions to the General Ledger.

Implementation & System Maintenance :

- Lead end-to-end lifecycle implementations, module rollouts, system upgrades (e.g., R12.1.3 to R12.2.x), and post-go-live hypercare support.

- Drive data migration strategy, functional mapping, validation, and reconciliation during system rollouts.

- Collaborate with technical teams on custom CEMLI (Configurations, Extensions, Modifications, Localizations, and Integrations) development, code reviews, and testing.

Testing & Training :

- Build test scenarios, write test scripts, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Integration Testing (SIT), and end-to-end process validation.

- Develop training materials and deliver functional training to end-users and finance super-users.

Production Support & Optimization :

- Resolve complex Tier 2/3 functional issues and service requests adhering to strict SLA guidelines.

- Identify process bottlenecks, automate manual financial reconciliations, and propose system optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Technical Skills :

- Experience : Minimum 6+ years of core functional consulting experience in Oracle EBS Financials (R12.1.x / R12.2.x).

- Core Module Expertise : Strong, in-depth functional knowledge across the following modules : General Ledger (GL) & Subledger Accounting (SLA), Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management (CM) & Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets (FA), Oracle E-Business Tax (eBTax) & iExpenses.

- Business Acumen : Solid understanding of financial accounting concepts, intercompany transactions, multi-currency processing, end-of-month/end-of-year financial closing, and consolidation.

- Methodologies : Hands-on expertise with Oracle Application Implementation Methodology (AIM) or Oracle Unified Method (OUM).

- Technical Proficiency : Ability to write SQL queries to analyze data, build custom reports/extracts, and troubleshoot functional bugs.

- Integrations : Experience with bank interfaces (EDI, BAI2, ISO 20022), payment gateways, and third-party accounting system integrations.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials (Fusion) or Cloud migration projects from Oracle EBS.

- Exposure to related Oracle modules such as Purchasing (PO), Order Management (OM), or Project Costing (PA).

- Prior experience working in global delivery models across multi-country deployments with complex localization rules.
