Senior Oracle Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support enterprise database applications using Oracle technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL tuning, database performance optimization, data migration, and Oracle development frameworks.

The candidate will work closely with business analysts, application teams, and DBAs to deliver scalable database solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views using PL/SQL.

- Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.

- Develop and maintain ETL/data migration scripts.

- Support database deployments, releases, and production issues.

- Work on database design, schema management, and data modeling.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle database/application issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.

- Implement security, backup, and recovery standards.

- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation.

- Support upgrades, patches, and Oracle environment enhancements.

Required Skills :

- Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c or higher

- Performance tuning and query optimization

- Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, Functions

- Data modeling and database design

- Oracle Forms/Reports (optional, based on project)

- Shell scripting/Linux commands

- Database migration and data conversion

- Experience with version control tools (Git/SVN)
