Role : APEX Senior Developer

Job Description :

6 to 8 Years of Experience :

We are seeking a highly skilled APEX Developer with 6-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). This role requires advanced knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and web technologies, as well as a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

- Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL code to support application functionality.

- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices are implemented.

- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and perform enhancements for existing applications.

- Document solutions, processes, and code for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Requirements :

- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX development.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.

- Experience integrating APEX applications with RESTful web services and other external systems.

- Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.

- Extensive experience in delivering Apex solution for complex architectures involving remote database interactions.

- Strong expertise in APEX and PL/SQL concepts like dynamic data pivoting, advanced APEX_COLLECTION management, JavaScript-based APEX customisation, and custom AJAX callback processes.

- Retail domain knowledge or experience.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Oracle Database administration.

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).

- Certifications in Oracle technologies are a plus.
