Role Overview :

As a Senior OpenText Documentum Consultant, you will serve as a technical authority for our enterprise content management engagements. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Documentum-based architectures that support mission-critical business operations. Working closely with cross-functional project teams and client stakeholders, you will translate intricate business requirements into high-performance technical solutions. Your work will directly influence how organizations manage, secure, and leverage their digital assets, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable Documentum solutions to meet specific enterprise content management requirements for our global clients.

- Develop and customize complex applications using Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC) to extend platform functionality and improve user workflows.

- Lead the migration and upgrade of legacy content management systems to modern OpenText environments to enhance data security and system reliability.

- Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and efficient storage management.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in ECM development.

- Troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues to minimize downtime and maintain the integrity of client document repositories.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions using the OpenText Documentum platform.

- Advanced proficiency in Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC), Documentum Query Language (DQL), and API development for custom application integration.

- Strong ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications and architectural designs.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with client stakeholders and articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

- Proven capability to work independently in a remote or distributed team environment while maintaining high standards of delivery.

- A minimum of 5 - 15 years of hands-on experience in the Documentum ecosystem, with a track record of managing large-scale enterprise deployments.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
