Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain all server-side network components using Node.js.

- Build scalable applications using Express.js and/or NestJS frameworks.

- Design, implement, and optimize backend architecture and APIs.

- Ensure optimal performance of databases and responsiveness to front-end requests.

- Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Design and implement backend services for various business processes.

- Develop high-performance applications by writing clean, testable, reusable, and efficient code.

- Implement security protocols, authentication/authorization systems, data protection measures, and storage solutions.

- Manage and optimize databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Couchbase.

- Run diagnostic tests, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance/support.

- Document processes, architecture decisions, and database schemas.

- Recommend and implement improvements to processes, technologies, and performance.

- Stay updated with advancements in Node.js ecosystem and backend technologies.

- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to the development team.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 6+ years of experience in Node.js development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Express.js and NestJS.

- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and/or NoSQL database Couchbase. (Note : MongoDB experience is not required for this role.)

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and backend best practices.

- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, modern web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalability.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

- Availability to handle urgent production issues if required.
