Location : India (Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai preferred) remote

Working hours : India hours with AU overlap (9 :00 AM 5 :00 PM IST)

Start date : Immediate (within 24 weeks)

Key responsibilities :

- Lead a 10-engineer offshore MuleSoft delivery team (architects, senior developers, developers, QA) across sprint cycles, ensuring on-time, on-quality delivery against the engagement roadmap

- Own the technical architecture and design governance of API-led integrations across Experience, Process, and System API layers

- Partner directly with the client's onshore architects and program leadership present designs, respond to reviews, and represent Builure Services in client forums

- Drive engineering best practices across the team : CI/CD on Anypoint, automated testing (MUnit), code reviews, DataWeave standards, API security, Anypoint Exchange governance

- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and escalations; run daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

- Coach and mentor team members on MuleSoft platform, architecture patterns, and consulting delivery skills

- Contribute to technical estimation, capacity planning, and roadmap discussions with Builure Services and client leadership

Required qualifications :

- 15+ years of total IT / software delivery experience

- 10+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience across design, development, and delivery

- MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (MCPA) or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (MCIA) current certification

- Proven delivery ownership for offshore pods of 8+ engineers in a consulting or systems-integrator environment

- Deep expertise in Anypoint Platform, including : CloudHub 2.0 and Runtime Fabric (RTF) deployment models

- Hybrid on-prem / cloud Anypoint architectures

- API-led connectivity (Experience, Process, System APIs)

- DataWeave 2.0 (complex transformation patterns)

- Anypoint Exchange, API Manager, Runtime Manager governance

- Strong understanding of integration patterns : request-reply, pub/sub, event-driven, batch

- Adjacent cloud and platform experience : Azure, AWS, Salesforce, Apache Kafka

- CI/CD for MuleSoft (Maven, GitHub Actions, MUnit testing)

- Excellent stakeholder communication comfortable representing the team in front of client architects and program leads

Preferred qualifications :

- Prior experience delivering for Tier-1 global consulting firms (Big 4, or large system integrators)

- Financial services, insurance, or regulated-industry integration experience

- Additional MuleSoft certifications : MCD Level 1, MCD Level 2

- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Integration Architect)

- Experience with EDA, event-driven architecture, Kafka,

- Published thought leadership in the MuleSoft community (blog posts, conference talks, Meetup organizing, MuleSoft Ambassador program) is a strong plus
