About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled MSSQL Database Administrator with strong expertise in SQL Server and cloud platforms (AWS & Azure). The role involves managing, optimizing, and securing database environments across both on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases

- Manage backups, recovery, patching, and upgrades

- Implement high availability solutions (Always On, mirroring, log shipping, replication)

- Manage Azure SQL Database and AWS RDS environments

- Handle cloud infrastructure, networking, and security

- Execute database migrations

- Perform performance tuning and query optimization

- Monitor database performance and capacity

- Collaborate with development teams

- Participate in on-call support and maintain documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8-10 years of experience as an MSSQL DBA

- Strong expertise in SQL Server, clustering, and high availability solutions

- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure

- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and security

- Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills

- Experience in database migrations and disaster recovery

- Good communication and teamwork skills
