Job Title : Senior MSP Project Manager (Remote US Shift)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Senior MSP Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple client-facing IT infrastructure projects within a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing complex infrastructure projects, including cloud, network, firewall, and virtualization technologies, while ensuring timely delivery, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Project Ownership :

- Take complete ownership of multiple infrastructure projects from initiation to closure across various clients.

Project Planning & Execution :

- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Stakeholder Management :

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, and third-party vendors. Maintain strong communication and alignment.

Infrastructure Project Management :

- Manage projects related to :

- Cloud migrations (AWS/Azure)

- Network upgrades and configurations

- Firewall implementations (SonicWall, WatchGuard)

- VMware and virtualization environments

Change & Maintenance Management :

- Handle downtime planning, maintenance windows, and secure necessary client approvals for smooth execution.

Risk & Issue Management :

- Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies. Escalate issues when necessary.

Team Coordination :

- Collaborate with technical engineers, onsite teams, and cross-functional departments to ensure seamless delivery.

Reporting & Documentation :

- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders using tools like MS Project and Excel.

Process Improvement :

- Continuously improve project delivery processes and contribute to best practices within the MSP environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Minimum 10+ years of Project Management experience in MSP (mandatory)

- Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent infrastructure projects

Technical Expertise :

Strong understanding of :

- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)

- Networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, routing)

- Firewall technologies (SonicWall, WatchGuard)

- Virtualization (VMware)

Project Management Skills :

- Strong experience in project planning, execution, and delivery

- Expertise in handling downtime, maintenance windows, and change management

Tools Knowledge :

- ConnectWise (mandatory/preferred)

- MS Project

- Advanced Microsoft Excel

Communication Skills :

- Excellent verbal and written communication

- Ability to handle client-facing roles in US shift

Soft Skills :

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills

- Ability to multitask and manage high-pressure environments

- Problem-solving and analytical mindset

Preferred Qualifications :

- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications (preferred)

- Experience working with global clients, especially US-based customers

- Background in IT Infrastructure or System Administration
